My "MOTION" MISSION
My Mission
A body in motion, stays in motion. At Motion Activated Physical Therapy, we are devoted to improving the lives of each patient through a comprehensive and holistic treatment approach, in order to maximize your movement and overall wellness. Continuing to move through your injury, with guidance, is going to produce the most optimal results. That’s where we come in. We will meet you where you’re at in the process. Whether it’s a sprained ankle that happened yesterday, chronic back pain that you’ve had for years, or anywhere in between, we’re going to come alongside you to develop a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan to get you moving and keep you moving, through every stage of life. We treat the whole person, not just the injury. This includes conversations and education on sleep, nutrition, and managing stress in order to maximize recovery.
My Philosophy
Our philosophy is that every patient is different and should be treated as such. Your time is valuable and we will make the most of every treatment session depending on your needs that day. Each session will be different and progress based on your needs. Time will be spent on manual therapy to decrease the pain and then get you moving, as you are able and comfortable, in order to continue to lower your pain, retrain the nervous system, maximize results, and prevent re-injury. Not only will you get individualized, one on one care with a doctor of physical therapy, but we will also follow up with you in between sessions to track your progress and success or re-evaluate if needed.

Meet Your Doctor
Dr. Jordan Davis PT, DPT, OCS
ICE-Certified: Master Clinician
Motion Activated Physical Therapy
Owner and Physical Therapist
(402) 431-2026
My name is Dr. Jordan Davis, and I am the owner of Motion Activated Physical Therapy. I have devoted my physical therapy career to outpatient therapy, allowing me to become an expert in treating a wide variety of patients and orthopedic diagnoses. As a busy mom and fitness athlete, I know that rest may not be an option when you get injured or have a limitation. This is why guided movement throughout your recovery is key.
I believe in a whole-body approach when treating patients, not just treating the injury. My approach includes hands-on treatment, specific exercise prescription, as well as patient education in order to keep you moving forward. Sleep, nutrition, and stress management are important components of healing and I believe these should be integrated into your care. I enjoy getting to know patients and building therapeutic relationships that empower them to be active participants in their care and recovery. I want to know your “why”, what specific goals are we working towards, what is important to you? I have special interest in treating back related pain, neck and headache pain, fitness athletes, and dancers.

When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out at my local Crossfit Gym, being outside, and cheering on the Huskers.
